Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection: Rishab Shetty directed Kantara Chapter 1 has kicked off the franchise’s prequel marvelously well since October 2nd. Kantara 2022 was a big hit, and this prequel was awaited with good excitement. It also has elements of traditional culture and folklore. The movie was made available in multiple languages, namely Kannada, Hindi, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam and has since captured Indian and even international audiences.

For its second day of worldwide gross collection, Kantara: Chapter 1 made an impressing ₹61 crore. The Hindi version of the movie grossed ₹11 crore as a net and ₹13.5 crore as a producer figure. For these collection figures, the movie’s worldwide gross collection now reaches an impressive ₹148.9 crore and in net ₹115 crore India collection in just three days.

In the India collection on the first day, the fabulous results were reached with the version collection in Kannada at ₹19.6 crore, Telugu at ₹13 crore, Hindi at ₹18.5 crore, Tamil at ₹5.5 crore, and Malayalam at ₹5.25 crore. The movie also crossed the net ₹100 crore collection in just two days, with an impressive ₹46 crore net collection added in the second day. 23.45 crore of the net was contributed from Karnataka alone.
Kantara: Chapter 1 has made over $2.5 million (around ₹22 crores) in the first 2 days of its international release. The film has most definitely held viewer interest and received positive reception because of its music, visuals, and period-action sequences.
It has a ₹125 crore budget and has completed its run as one of the highest-grossing films in Indian cinema, and is still generating attention in varied languages. The film features Rishab Shetty, Rukmini Vasanth, Jayaram, and Gulshan Devaiah, and the prequel storyline, set a thousand years before the original, has some critics and most fans biting the narrative.
