According to reports, the company is preparing to introduce its first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Fold, in 2026. It could launch alongside the iPhone 18 series and iPhone Air 2.
Book-Style Design and Strong Frame
The folding iPhone’s design will be based on a book-style fold, similar to what we’ve seen in the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold and Vivo X Fold. According to reports, its frame will be made from a mix of titanium and aluminum, making it both lightweight and strong. Apple may use liquid metal technology for the hinge, further enhancing its durability.

Great Display and Powerful Performance
According to reports, the iPhone Fold could feature a 7.8-inch inner display and a 5.5-inch outer screen. It will come with LTPO panel technology, which will provide better battery efficiency. For performance, it could be equipped with the A20 Pro chipset and 12GB of RAM.
Camera and Battery Details
This foldable iPhone is expected to feature dual 48MP rear cameras and an under-display front camera. The phone could also feature a battery larger than 5,000mAh and a Touch ID-integrated power button.

According to reports, the iPhone Fold release date could be September 2026. Its starting price in India is expected to be around ₹175,000. However, some reports also suggest that if production is delayed, it could be delayed until 2027.
