iQOO 15 China Launch: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Flagship with 7,000mAh Battery and 144Hz Display

iQOO 15 China Launch: iQOO has launched its new flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, in China. With powerful features like a large 7,000mAh battery, a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, and a 144Hz display, this phone is set to disrupt the premium segment.

Chinese tech brand iQOO has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15. The company has introduced this phone in five storage variants and four stunning color options. During the iQOO 15 launch event, the company also announced that the smartphone will be launched in India by November 2025.

Design and Display

The iQOO 15 features a 6.85-inch LTPO Samsung M14 AMOLED display with a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The display’s brightness reaches up to 6000 nits, providing excellent visibility even in bright sunlight. This time, the company has also included an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, which is extremely fast and accurate.

Powerful Performance

The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, making it ready for high-performance gaming and multitasking. It also features iQOO’s dedicated Q3 gaming chip, which delivers smooth 2K resolution and 144fps playback. It comes with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage.

Camera and Battery

The camera setup includes a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. A 32MP front camera is provided for video calling and 4K selfie recording.

Speaking of battery, it has a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The company claims that this phone can be charged to 100% in just 25 minutes.

When will the iQOO 15 arrive in India?

According to the company, the iQOO 15 India launch is expected in November. This smartphone will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and will be launched in the premium segment in India.
