Bollywood and Pandit Modi’s tributes on Satish Shah’s death, throwback to iconic comedy roles

The entire film industry is mourning the death of 74-year-old actor and comedian Satish Shah.

Many stars, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, paid tribute to him and remembered his memorable roles.

PM Modi expressed deep grief
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared an emotional post on X on the passing of Satish Shah. He wrote, “The passing of Satish Shah ji is deeply saddening. His contribution to the Indian entertainment industry will remain unforgettable. He brought smiles to millions of people with his comedy. My condolences to his family and loved ones. Om Shanti.”
This tweet was widely shared, and people remembered the actor’s work.

Farah Khan wrote on Instagram, “Rest in peace, dear Satish. Your jokes and memes will be missed every day.”

Satish Shah’s final journey
Satish Shah passed away on October 25th at the age of 74 due to kidney failure. He was found unconscious at his Mumbai home and could not be revived when taken to the hospital. Doctors said he had recently undergone a kidney transplant.
