Importance of Sleep in our life

Our full day mood depends on energy after waking up and that energy depends on our sleep. If one has a good sleep He/She wakes up in a good mood and full of energy but if they don’t have a good sleep their day may be spoiled or they feel very irritated
or have some problems like headaches, vomiting, etc. So having bad sleep may spoil your day, so it is very important to have a good and comfortable sleep.

According to doctors recommendation-:

1.Newborn babies must have a sleep of 12-16 hours as they sleep short periods which is called sleep cycles that are almost 20-50 minutes long.

2.12 months old babies may take one or two naps during the day.

3.Adults must have 7-8 hours of good sleep.

So, these are the sleep durations recommended by doctors.

~Lack of sleep may cause some physical and mental health issues-:

1. Fatigue – Feeling very low and unmotivated during the entire day.

2. Irritated – Feeling very irritated or short-tempered.

3. Skin problem – dull skin and also cause dark circles.

4. Mental health – High risk of anxiety and depression.

5. Risk of accidents – Due to tiredness or low energy chances of getting into an accident are much higher.

~How to Improve your sleep-:

1. Manage stress and anxiety – To manage stress and anxiety you can try meditation or deep breathing before bed.

2. Natural Sleep Aids – Drink warm Milk before bed or use essential oils like lavender relaxation.

3. Exercise – Exercise daily but avoid intense workouts just before bedtime or you can do yoga also.

4. Diet – Don’t eat heavy meals close to bedtime and also avoid caffeine in the afternoon and evening.

5. Get natural Sunlight – Spend more time in natural sunlight early in the day as it regulates your circadian rhythm.

6. Sleep schedule – Follow a consistent sleep schedule go to bed and wake up at the same time every day also avoid long naps.

So, these are some of the side effects and some steps of how to improve your sleep
