Nothing Phone 3a Android 16 Beta Update:
The Nothing Phone 3a Android 16 beta rollout has begun, and Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro users can install it. This Open Beta version is based on Android 16. This means users will be able to test new features before the stable update arrives.
How to get this beta update?
✔ To install this update, your phone must first have the latest stable build of Asteroids-V3.2- 251013-1406.
✔ The update can be downloaded by going to:
Settings → System → Nothing Beta Hub → Install Beta APK.
✔ The beta testing opportunity will last until November 7th.

A Preview of New Features
Nothing OS 4.0 Beta features several changes:
✔ New icon system: The interface now looks simpler and more uniform.
✔ Stretch Camera Preset: This preset, created in collaboration with photographer Jordan Hemingway, improves shadows and highlights in photos.
✔ Lock Glimpse feature: It rotates wallpapers from nine categories on the lock screen and displays contextual content when needed.
It is off by default and can be customized.
Know these things before installing:
Since this is an early beta testing phase, the phone may experience issues such as:
- Heating
- Rapid battery drain
- App crashes
Many system apps will not be removed, but users will be able to delete some pre-loaded third-party apps.
Rollback Package
Nothing also provides a rollback package. However, returning to the previous system version will result in a factory reset and erase all data.
Therefore, it’s crucial to back up before updating.
