Thailand and Myanmar today morning suffered tremendous damage from a 6.8 earthquake. The epicenter was found in Shan state of Myanmar, where the Indian and Eurasian tectonics merge. Given its depth—just 10 kilometers—it felt like many hundred kilometers away.
